Trinity Faith-Based University

Trinity Faith-Based University is approved by the state of Indiana Commission of Proprietary Education. Its primary focus is to create schools of human services. The anchor program for Trinity University is housed in the School of Alcohol and Drugs which is approved by NAADAC (The Association for Addiction Professionals).

University Accreditations and Affiliations
  • Certified Academic Institution with the National Christian Counselors Association
  • Certified Academic Institution with the American Association of Christian Therapist (Premier Level)

Trinity has collaborated with Rhonda McKillip, M.Ed., LMHC, MAC, CCDC III, CDP and Dr. Tommy Williams (Ph.D. in Alcohol and Drugs) to formulate a four module Bachelor's degree program designed to meet the needs of persons wanting to become nationally certified addiction counselors.

The following levels of certifications are as follows:

  •  CAC I Credentials
Applications
  •  NCAC II - Bachelor's level
  •  MAC - Master's level
  •  Ph. D. level

Each applicant is evaluated by several different means:

  •  Prior training and work experience
  •  College coursework / transcripts
  •  Documented certificates and seminars

Trinity Faith-Based University's Mission Statement:

To train individuals in the area of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs in order to meet the needs of the clients they serve. Trinity's basic philosophy is that most clients need a total spiritual revitalization in order to conquer their need for addictive substances.

In addition to the Trinity University B.A., M.A., and Ph.D Degree in alcohol and drugs counseling, CEU from NAADAC and College credit can be designed for group or individuals. Trinity Faith Based University can train interested persons to become certified trainers and presenters in the use of the Phillip Roy Curriculum. Continuing Education Units can be granted in the Life Skills and Character Education Curriculums.

To Alcohol and Drug Professionals:

Trinity Faith-Based University is approved by the state of Indiana Commission of Proprietary Education. Its primary focus is to certify persons in the field of Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drugs. Trinity’s program is accelerated and can be completed according to your pace. Placement in the programs depends on the following criteria;

• Prior training and coursework
• College coursework and transcripts
• Documented certificates and seminars

Completion of the program and awarding of degrees will depend on your completion of a four-module course. All assignments can be done via email. Upon completion of the coursework, a posttest will be given. Then the appropriate degrees will be awarded. The levels of certification are as follows:

• CAC I credentials
• NCAC II-Bachelor’s level
• MAC-Master’s level
• Ph.D. level
